I am not sure if you have heard, but there is a woman who is going to circumnavigate the Great Lakes.  She plans to do 8600 miles in 265 days.

Traci Lynn Martin is a competitive kayaker.  She started off in Port Huron on March 13.  She will be in the Chicago area in May.
